Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and Booktidge, the operator of the GCC Comply service ("Booktidge", "we", "us"), governing your access to and use of the GCC Comply platform, websites, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
GCC Comply is a software-as-a-service platform operated by Booktidge that helps contractors and main contractors in the GCC region manage subcontractor compliance documents (trade licences, Emirates IDs, passports, insurance certificates, and similar artefacts), track expiry dates, and send automated reminders.
3. Account & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the legal entity you represent. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials confidential and notify us immediately at support@gcccomply.com of any suspected unauthorised access.
4. Subscriptions, billing & taxes
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance at the price shown on our Pricing page. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as our merchant of record; Paddle is responsible for tax collection and invoicing where applicable. Refund and cancellation rules are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Customer data & privacy
You retain all rights to the documents and personal data you upload ("Customer Data"). We process Customer Data on your behalf solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload any subcontractor data and to share it with us as your processor.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or infringes the rights of others.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Use the Service to send spam, malware, or unsolicited communications.
- Resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product.
- Interfere with the Service's security, performance, or availability.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, and content (other than Customer Data), is owned by GCC Comply and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service during your active subscription, subject to these Terms.
8. Service availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available 24/7. We may schedule maintenance windows or experience unplanned downtime, and we are not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure, third-party infrastructure outages, internet faults).
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. GCC Comply is a record-keeping and reminder tool — it is your responsibility to verify that your subcontractors hold valid documents and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GCC Comply's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.
11. Term & termination
These Terms remain in effect while you have an active account. Either party may terminate at any time. You may cancel from Billing → Manage; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination, your access to the Service ends, and we will delete or return Customer Data in line with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
